Later, I worked at G
& V Machine. G&V wasn't a pleasant place to work, the owner would come out and
have temper tantrums and he had unrealistic expectations. As you can tell by the website,
it was a pretty lame place. Working there did get me familiar with the new Giddings & Lewis mills.
Specifically, I worked on a G&L Ram 630.
The above picture is me at my current job. As of July of 99 I have been
providing support for issues that people have with their computers. I started as a Support
Engineer for a national ISP. This year,
I have been promoted twice. The first took me to Level 2 Mentor on the Palm Technical Support Team. The second
promotion places me on management team where I serve as Team Lead.
Although I no longer work as a machinist, it still interests me. In fact,
metalworking in general has always been a fascination of mine. When I get done remodeling
my house I plan on setting up a hobby shop.
